Audiofarm gives you access to not only music, but audio from sources around the world including news & radio, podcasts, interviews and documentaries.  Not everything is free for downloadable use, but it's a good resource to find unique music that is not copyright restricted.  Look for the highligted CC symbol below to know what to look for when picking your music.

Beatpick is a site with free music that has been cleared for use in websites, film, radio, TV, documentaries, presentations, games, DVDs, etc.  While it is free for nonprofit uses, this site is unique in that it splits the profits 50/50 with the artists when the music is played in commercial ventures. It also allows people to compile "Beatlists," their version of a playlist.

Incomptech offers a full range of royalty music.  Users may search the site according to the "feel" of the music whether it be playful, mysterious or claming.  It also allows users to search according to music genre.

Jamendo offers a wide variety of music for use in projects. Its music is organized by radio channels & genre.
